Springview Residential Estate (Stg5) Thurgoona
Springview Stage 5 is a great example of our true end-to-end project capability. Enviro Culture Services began by developing the full landscape design, preparing detailed plans and specifications, and then brought the vision to life through landscape construction.
A large constructed wetland reserve was transformed with the planting of approximately 22,000 tubestock plants, creating a thriving, biodiverse environment. Along the streetscape adjacent to the wetlands, bespoke timber totem posts celebrating organic patterns and themes were installed as a distinctive design feature. These replaced traditional street trees in response to environmental constraints associated with protecting the habitat of the threatened Sloane’s Froglet — proving that thoughtful design can both respect ecology and deliver strong visual character.
A Creekside linear reserve runs through the estate, where outdoor gym stations sit beneath shade sails, carefully nestled into a landscaped embankment. This clever design solution turned what was once an awkward sloping site into an inviting, functional fitness space with a peaceful outlook.
To complete the streetscape and reserve areas, we installed 110 advanced trees, along with extensive planting of shrubs and native grasses — ensuring the estate feels established, welcoming, and connected to its natural surroundings from day one.
Scope of works included:
Landscape Design services, Wetland area soil preparation and plantings, wetland flocculation, fabrication & install of bespoke timber totem features, installation of rock retainer wall, decomposed granitic and decorative concrete pavements, installation of outdoor gym/ fitness equipment, new shade sails and park furniture, streetscape soil preparation, mulching, advanced tree planting and bedding plantings, hydroseeding
