Tocumwal CWA Park
Located adjacent to the local library, the Tocumwal CWA Park features a new early childhood playspace constructed beneath existing shade sails. The project focused on creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment with new play equipment, connecting pathways, irrigated garden beds, and picnic furniture to best serve both park and library visitors.
Our role was to refine the concept into a practical working plan, ensuring the design was practical, compliant, and delivered strong value within the available budget.
Located adjacent to the local library, the park was designed with a strong focus on early childhood engagement, creating a safe and inviting environment that complements the educational setting. ECS constructed the new playspace beneath the existing large shade sails, effectively utilising existing site assets to maximise both functionality and cost efficiency.
Works included the installation of not only the play area, but also connecting pathways, new irrigated garden beds and turf, and picnic furniture, creating a welcoming and accessible space for families and carers using both the library and the park.
