Enviro Culture Services was honoured to deliver the Monument Hill redevelopment in partnership with AlburyCity, the Albury RSL Club, and the local community.

Overlooking the Albury CBD, the heritage-listed site was originally established in 1954 as a memorial space and community gathering area. Once hosting a range of community events, gradually the Heritage listed area fell into disrepair and was rarely used.

After thorough community consultation AlburyCity developed a thoughtful Masterplan to respectfully reactive the park . The upgrade carefully preserved the historic stone walling while introducing accessible pathways, a new play space and outdoor gym, memorial garden plantings, irrigated turf areas, seating, and shade structures — creating a space that honours the past while supporting community use into the future.

Our works included:

- Earthworks

- Plumbing and drainage upgrades

- Installation of new fitness & play equipment

- Playground surfacing

- New shade sails and park furniture

- Formal blockwork walling and staircase

- Electrical and lighting upgrades

- New accessible concrete pathways

- Accessible concrete pathways

- Soil preparation, mulching, and planting

- Turfing

- Automatic irrigation installation
